They continued talking, as Freya savoured the old-style coffee, with her eyes closed.

Olivia took a break, as she realised that she had researched well into the afternoon. “I need lunch,” she decided.

On her way out of the Library, she ran into Janara at the Grand Atrium. “Janara!”

“Olivia. How did the class go?”

“It went well. There are accommodations.”

“That’s good to hear,” Janara said.

“Now, somewhere for lunch.”

“I heard there is a good place on the roof of the Art Gallery.”

“That’s interesting,” Olivia considered. “I’d like to hear the story about that, along with everything else.”

“I’m sure it’s here somewhere.”

After the previous day’s experiences, Daniela didn’t find it that odd that Freya was keeping her eyes closed as she ate lunch and drank the old style coffee as she talked. ‘It’s part of how she experiences the world she said.’

“…And so, I can trace my ancestry back to the Vikings in the early Nordic period,” Freya said.

“That’s good, most of my lines peter out either in the Renaissance, or in the late Nordic period, shortly before the Unification.”

“Apparently, the keeping of those records really only start in the Renaissance, in the rural areas.”

“It goes back a lot further in the cities, especially in Urbs Aeterna,” Daniela said.

It didn’t take Janara and Olivia long to find the place above the Art Gallery. Olivia was relived to find that it wasn’t crowded. ‘That’s good,’ she thought. “Multiple layers,” she commented.

“Huh?”

“The University, Urbs Aeterna, Aurora.”

They swung from tree to tree over the traps and reached the roof.

“I can hear talking inside,” SpiderGirl said. “Jane and Kalina.”

“What are they talking about.”

“Daria. It seems they are rehashing an argument.”

In the cabin, Jane was growing tired of waiting for rescue. She paused in her umpteenth defense of Daria and looked at the approaching storm.

“Storm, so what?” Kalina said.

“It’s just the sort of thing SpiderGirl or the fourth vigilante could use as cover in a rescue attempt,” Jane answered.

“Are you sure?” Kalina asked.

“Yes, I have met SpiderGirl,” Jane said.

Oliver spoke up. “This is a lot different to stopping muggers, stopping that Green Goblin and rescuing kittens from trees.”

“That’s true,” Jane said. “But I don’t doubt that she could do it, despite Quentin’s illusions.”

“They’re now talking about possible rescue,” SpiderGirl said as rain started to fall.

“I’d say that’s as good as invitation as any,” Ninja Talon said.

“Another minute.”

The Enigma and Dafoanairi felt the rain as it began to fall. “We’re almost there,” The Enigma said.

“We might get soaked, but it will be worth it,” Dafoanairi said.

Lightning streaked across the sky and the thunder soon followed.

As the thunder sounded, SpiderGirl flipped open a hatch on the roof of the cabin. She went first. Ninja Talon followed closely.

They came down through the roof space down to a hallway. But then SpiderGirl’s Spider Sense tingled. “He knows we’re here.”

Ninja Talon took out a bo staff. “I’m ready.”

A door opened and a figure with a fishbowl helmet stepped through it. “SpiderGirl and Ninja Talon. I knew you would show up at some point.”

“And you are Quentin Beck,” SpiderGirl said. “Why are you doing this? Why abduct the critics and Jane Lane? Why target Tempest?”

“You would love to have the answers to that, wouldn’t you?” the figure asked.

“And how did you get the layout of the stormwater system?” Ninja Talon asked.

“Same answer,” the figure said, before pressing a button on one of his gauntlets. The walls around them started to shift. “Now, how can you find them if you don’t know what’s real?” He then laughed and left.

“By not using our eyes,” SpiderGirl said as she closed hers and listened.

“Inuition?” Ninja Talon said.

“And we can feel where the walls are.”

“That too.”

“And we can call out to them, orient ourselves that way,” SpiderGirl said.

“Of course. Jane!”

“Oliver! Kalina!”

Jane heard SpiderGirl and Ninja Talon. “In here!” she called out.

“You need to be louder than that,” Oliver said.

“Then cover your ears,” Jane said. “JANE LANE IS HERE.”

“There!” SpiderGirl said.

“I hear her,” Ninja Talon said. She reached out and took SpiderGirl’s hand.

SpiderGirl then found the wall, and lead her friend along it.

At the same time, the Enigma and Dafoanairi reached the edge of where the traps were. The storm was still picking up. “Are we going to wait, or?” Dafoanairi asked.

“No,” the Enigma decided, as lightning struck nearby. “I’ll set some of them off, and try to disrupt them. Then you can go in. I’ll follow behind.”

“Got it.”

The Enigma then fired a projection, setting off a mist between them and the cabin. However, it was clear to her and Dafoanairi that the rain was having an effect on it. "This time I don’t have to hold back telekinetically.”

“I still don’t want you accidentally hurting Jane.”

“I won’t aim in the direction of the cabin.”

“Good,” Dafoanairi said.

The Enigma then started pushing outwards telekinetically.

The Captain entered Astrometrics where Seven was still working.

“The algorithm is almost complete, Captain.”

“As soon as we can initiate it, the more confident I’ll be that we’ll be able to pull this off with a minimum of issues.”

“It should be another two minutes,” Seven said.

“Send it to the Bridge when you’re done.”

“Of course, Captain.”

Janeway returned to the bridge.

“I have received the algorithm, Captain,” Tom reported.

“Then initiate it,” the Captain ordered.

Tom pressed the initiate command.

“Helm Randomisation Algorithm initiated. Ensign Katelyn Hawkins, please report to the Bridge for One Hour, Sixteen minutes, Thirty Eight Seconds.”

Quinn thought about it as they ate and drank. She wondered what Jane was going to show her, and what seemed to be off limits. She had seen the buildings and a few parks on the way from the Howard Drive Tunnel. ‘I would like to see the clothes stores, of course, but maybe see where the other routes back up to the Normal Lawndale, or I suppose, Lawndale Above, are.’

In the Swanson’s loungeroom, Daniel Stanton awoke first and turned on the stereo. But he hadn’t checked the volume, so loud rock music blared. He hastily turned it down, but he saw he had awoken Kerrie, who had slept on the other side of the room.

“Definitely,” Janara said. “Even with the local internet. The Auroran and Auroric language internets have more older sites than most other languages, especially those in English.”

“I had heard something about that.”

“And so, Aurora proves to be unique yet again.”

“I’m sure there other nations that claim to be unique,” Olivia said.

“I’m sure there are, but I’m sure you’ll agree that Aurora has the best claim.”

“Yes.”

They then came to the counter.

Freya opened her eyes as she stepped out of the Coffee House cafeteria and looked across the Plaza at the Library. She saw that the varied architectural styles of the various sections that she could see didn’t clash. ‘That’s something I can talk to Alexia about,’ she decided. “Interesting,” she said.

“What is?” Daniela asked.

“The way the varied styles of the Library don’t clash.”

“They must have considered that.”

“It is certainly, yet another thing to look into,” Freya considered.

“There are certainly a lot of things to find out here.”

SpiderGirl felt a door handle. She then opened it. “Jane?”

“SpiderGirl!” Jane said as the two heroines entered the room.

SpiderGirl opened her eyes and saw that Jane was none the worse for wear. “Good, you’re safe!” she said as she pulled Ninja Talon into the room.

Ninja Talon looked around the room. She saw Jane, Kalina and the two male critics. “Now to get you out of here.”

“I guess you haven’t planned for that,” Jane stated.

“Let me think,” Ninja Talon said.

“If we can get the window open, we can then swing up onto the roof,��� SpiderGirl said.

“I tried that,” Jane said. “It’s shatterproof and is locked.”

“I’ll try anyway,” SpiderGirl said.

SpiderGirl went closer to the window and then shot a few webs at it. She then pulled. It budged and then fell in. The storm then started entering the room.

“Are you sure about this?” Kalina asked. “Going out into the storm?”

“Yes,” SpiderGirl said. “Trust me.”

“It won’t be that difficult,” Jane said as she went over near the hole in the wall.

“Um, I’m afraid of heights,” Kalina confessed.

“That does make it a little difficult,” Jane said.

“Enough, Lane!” Kalina said.

“There’s something else,” SpiderGirl said as she looked out the window.

“What?” Ninja Talon asked.

“The fourth vigilante is here, triggering the outside traps with her powers,” SpiderGirl said.

“So?” One of the male critics asked.

“She wants to be my rival,” SpiderGirl answered. “But we can still do this.”

Dafoanairi saw that a window had been pulled inside. ‘It’s likely to be SpiderGirl,’ she thought. She saw that the Enigma was busy clearing traps.

The Enigma was growing annoyed. How many of those traps did Beck deploy? ‘He’s definitely getting help from Oscorp!’ she groused to herself as she angrily ripped up soil and threw it aside.’ Where there weren’t illusions, the ground was becoming a muddy quagmire.

Dafoanairi looked. “I guess I have to risk it, to help SpiderGirl,” she thought. She took out a coil of rope and tied it to a tree trunk nearby. “I hope this is long enough.” She then held on to the other end as she plunged into the fray.

Peterson and some other officers parked near the cabins. “We will wait until the FBI gives the go ahead,” she said.

“Understood.”

SpiderGirl leaned out the window and saw that the Enigma was preoccupied dealing with the illusions in her vicinity. ‘It should be safe,’ she decided. She shot a webline up to the roof. ‘But then I’m not sure I have swung in a storm like this before.’ She shot a couple of additional ones.

Starting us off on the non-turtle characters we have April!!

April is the same age and Donnie and Raph as they were all in the same grade together along with Casey. She was Donnie’s best friend and the disappearance of the twins was devastating to her. She feels especially guilty because they were on their way to her house for a group sleepover when they were taken.

April tried for years to get teachers, police, and media reporters to do something about her friends but no one seemed to care enough about two random kids (or were too scared) to do anything, especially after their father had disappeared too. Two years after the disappearance she and Casey decided to take matters into their own hands investigate their friends’ case themselves.

All of this kickstarted her passion for journalism.

April is very up beat but more of a realist than a total optimist. She’s very passionate about the things she finds important or interesting. This causes her to get a little stuck in her head sometimes since once her train of thought starts it’s near impossible to stop. This does come in handy for connecting pieces of a puzzle together but it can be just as much as a problem as well.

Hello! For the people who don't know Dusk and Dawn is a tmnt fan Iteration I made back in November of 2023 and been obsessed with ever since lol. This stupid little au is what I think about half of the time, so I hope you guys like it.

Side note: keep in mind that I made this au/fan iteration back in 2023, meaning, some of the characters lore/backstories and plot points I have mentioned on here or on Instagram might be outdated to the current story. This au is still a Wip so stuff will change. Just bear with me lol

Backstory for the ninja turtles: Shedder and Baxter Stockman was try to make some super-humans and decided to use turtles (Venus, Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey) and Splinter daughter (Karai) to experience on. Due to a chemical reaction the lab exploded. The turtles survived and got found by Splinter who gotten mutated in the process, Shedder decided to take Karai in and raise her as her own. For Venus, she was raised by Draxum

What To Expect From The Day Of The Jackal.

Perhaps Hollywood’s shiniest star of the 2010s – starring in the likes of My Week With Marilyn (2011), Les Misérables (2012), The Theory of Everything (2014) and The Danish Girl (2015) – Eddie Redmayne takes on a role unlike any of his others in The Day of the Jackal: an assassin. Here’s exactly what to expect from Sky’s brand new thriller.

The Day Of The Jackal: Plot, Cast, Release Date & More

In the works since 2022, Sky’s flagship series this autumn is this star-studded series. Written by Ronan Bennett and directed by Brian Kirk, Eddie Redmayne has been attached to the project as an executive producer since the very beginning, with the actor describing the original book as ‘reconceived and contemporised with a new target’ for the series. In March 2023, it was confirmed Redmayne would star in the title role, too.

What Is The Day Of The Jackal About?

The Day of the Jackal is a political thriller centring on a ruthless British assassin and the intelligence officer tasked with capturing him. Sky’s synopsis reads: ‘An unrivalled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal (Eddie Redmayne), makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake. The series also stars Úrsula Corberó as Nuria, someone at the heart of The Jackal’s personal life, unaware of who he truly is.’

Where Was It Filmed?

The Day of the Jackal was filmed across Europe in 2023, beginning in Budapest in June, before moving to Vienna in July. As autumn drew in, it was over to Croatia, with filming taking place in Rijeka, Pag, Dubrovnik and the Istrian region.

What Is It Based On?

The Day of the Jackal is based on Frederick Forsyth’s 1971 novel of the same name. Critically and commercially acclaimed, Forsyth’s plot whisks us back to 1962 and begins with paramilitary terrorist organisation OAS’s real conspiracy to assassinate Charles de Gaulle, the President of France. In the book, the Jackal is tasked with the job. Forsyth’s novel was an instant bestseller – perhaps because it was published less than a year after the real de Gaulle actually died (of an aneurysm; he wasn’t assassinated). Sky’s series, however, moves the action to contemporary Britain.

If you recognise the plot, that’s because this isn’t the first time The Day of the Jackal has been adapted for the screen: in 1973, Edward Fox portrayed the Jackal in the book’s first film treatment, before Bruce Willis took on the role in the 1997 remake which re-set the action in the US, with the First Lady the assassination target

What Is A Jackal?

‘Jackal’ is the assassin’s codename in The Day of the Jackal. So what is a ‘jackal’? In the wild, a jackal is a canine mammal, smaller than a wolf but bigger than a fox. Found in Africa, the Middle East, Southeastern Europe and western and south Asia, jackals are opportunistic omnivores and predators of small to medium sized animals and, like foxes, typically hunt and scavenge at dawn and dusk. In conversation, however, to call someone a jackal is to describe them as cunning, dishonest and treacherous – and someone who performs base deeds for another.

How Many Episodes In The Day Of The Jackal?

The Day of the Jackal is a 10-part series, with each episode running for 60 minutes.

Release Date

Episode 1 of The Day of the Jackal will air on Sky Atlantic on Thursday 7 November 2024, and the following episodes will air weekly on Thursdays. The release schedule is as follows:

Synopsis: In Amsterdam, The Hammer's hitman Vidor recovers some discs from a contact in return for some negatives being used by the commissar to blackmail him with. Rather than exchange the negatives, Vidor simply kills him. In the Batcave, Tim Drake considers giving up his role as Robin, having been enrolled by his father in a school in Metropolis, and having disobeyed Batman's orders and taken up with The Huntress. Alfred tries to reassure him, but can't hide his own misgivings about Tim's activities. Even so, he takes Tim out in the van to meet with Huntress.

Robin explains to Huntress that the Russian gangsters they met had used their real names, and that they are involved in a patented method of creating counterfeit-proof currency for world-powers. This means that they planned to join with the Hammer in creating counterfeit currency that could pass for currencies belong to those countries who believe that they are safe from counterfeiting. Mr. Dzerchenko, who the KGBeast had murdered, was intended to print the counterfeit money. They check several printers across Gotham City for the counterfeiters, but turn up nothing.

Finally, they discover a suspicious operation, and sneak inside. However, they are watched from above by the Ghost Dragons. Robin notices that the money that the Hammer is printing doesn't appear to be a real currency, but they continue to talk about it as though it will be worth a fortune. He decides to stay on to investigate their real plan, until the KGBeast turns up carrying Huntress' unconscious body.

Using the sound of the printing presses as cover, Robin knocks out some of the goons, and attempts to alter the program that will produce the counterfeit currency. While searching for Huntress, he discovers that Ariana Dzerchenko is not dead, but has been put to work bagging heroin for the Hammer. He kills the lights in the plant, and makes his way to Ariana. Unfortunately, once he gets to her, Vidor and his men block their path to escape.

“Oh, yeah. But I don't think we have to save the world right this second,’ he responded.

“Great!” she said. A few more moments of making out wouldn’t go awry, she considered.

Suddenly there was a purr above them. ” Que passionato!”

‘Oh great!’ Brittany thought. ‘Upchuck!’

“Hey! We're trying to save the world here!” Kevin said as he shone his flashlight at Charles.

“And I'm trying to find the space maidens' ship so they can take me back and make me their love slave,” Charles responded.

“Oh cool,” Kevin said.

Two more flashlights turned on. “Well, you were right. Everyone has gone crazy,” Jodie Landon said.

“I knew you'd try something, Kevin. I figured I owed it to the team to keep you from humiliating yourself,” Mack said.

Bushes rustled and Mr. O’Neill emerged.

“Mr. O'Neill? Don't tell me you're hunting communists, too?” Mack asked incredulously.

O’Neill laughed nervously. “I wouldn't call it hunting. I heard a rumor about secret police kidnapping educators and spiriting them off to the gulag. But me? No. I frequently go for walks with a, um, flashlight in case the streetlights go out.”

There was another rustle above and SpiderGirl emerged upside down, lowering herself halfway down by a thread. “What’s going on here? Paranormal?”

“Not very,” Jodie said, looking around.

‘Probably meant paranoia,’ Brittany thought.

“These reds come red-hot from the red planet itself. We're talking Mars,” Charles said.

“Really?” SpiderGirl asked, her voice showing incredulity.

“Charles, I think you mean Marx,” O’Neill said as he dropped his flashlight.

Jane answered the door. “You made it. Cool. I was starting to... whoa!”

Daria also looked at the flashing lights in the nearby woods.

O’Neill found his flashlight. “Found it.”

“But why are you all, like, sneaking around with flashlights?” SpiderGirl asked.

“Good question,” Jodie said.

The others all switched off their flashlights.

“Did we just see a U.F.O.?” Jane asked.

“You're getting paranoid. It's probably just an informal get-together of local stalkers. You know, hang out, swap stories, try out each other's skeleton keys,” Daria responded.

“But only an idiot would go stalking with a flashlight, especially with that SpiderGirl about.”

“Come on. This is Lawndale,” Daria said as she went inside.

“Your’re right, SpiderGirl, we’ve all been acting very foolish.”

“Hey, man, speak for yourself,” Kevin objected.

“Oh! Sorry, Kevin, “ O’Neill said. “But I wonder if maybe a rally might be in order. You know, something before classes to promote understanding, remove the fear, and increase the peace.”

“Are you sure?” SpiderGirl asked, before Kevin could get a word in.

“Quite sure. It won’t get out of control,” O’Neill said.

“But, practice is before classes. He's trying to destroy football. He's one of them!”

“No he isn’t,” SpiderGirl said, trying to keep calm.

“Who?” Brittany asked.

“I thought you knew.”

‘Time to go, Kevin,” Mack said.

“I’ll stay and talk to SpiderGirl for a bit,” Brittany said.

“Sure,” Jodie said. She turned to Upchuck. “Come along, Charles, we’ve had enough excitement for one night.”

“Yes, I better go too,” O’Neill said.

SpiderGirl wasn’t sure why Brittany wanted to talk to her. “What’s up?” she asked.

“Um, What is it like being a hero, fighting crime?” Brittany asked, whilst twirling a pigtail.

“Difficult. But the thanks I get from the people rescued from muggers make it more than worth it.”

“What made you start?”

“Someone died,” SpiderGirl answered, trying not to give anything away.

But it seemed that Brittany made some connections. “Like that carjacking, when one of my friends’ father died two weeks ago.”

“Yes,” SpiderGirl said carefully. “That was the last straw. That was when I knew Lawndale is declining into a crime filled…” she paused, seeing that Brittany got what she was saying.

Brittany nodded. “But you have powers, right?”

“Yes, but why are you asking all this?” SpiderGirl asked.

“Like, after that death, I’ve been thinking about what’s been happening. And maybe I could help in some way.”

La Congregazione Generale dell’Ordine è iniziata lunedì 5 settembre a Villa Aurelia, un centro di ritiro/conferenza vicino al Vaticano. Il tema dell’incontro di quest’anno è stato Dono e missione: La testimonianza radicale dei carmelitani consacrati nel mondo di oggi. “Da questo tutti sapranno che siete miei discepoli” (Gv 13,35).

La congregazione ha concluso con un messaggio alla Famiglia Carmelitana, che riportiamo qui di seguito. Questo messaggio è stato discusso e approvato dai membri della Congregazione nei suoi ultimi giorni.

CONGREGAZIONE GENERALE DEI FRATELLI

DELLA BEATA VERGINE MARIA DEL MONTE CARMELO 2022

Carmelo: Passione per Dio, per la Fraternità e per l’Umanità

1. Noi, membri della Congregazione Generale dell’Ordine dei Fratelli della Beata Vergine Maria del Monte Carmelo, riuniti a Villa Aurelia, Roma, dal 4 al 17 settembre 2022, lodiamo e ringraziamo Dio uno e trino per l’opportunità di condividere la fraternità, pregare e riflettere sulla nostra comune vocazione di religiosi carmelitani consacrati. Abbiamo con gioia condiviso, discusso e discernuto come testimoniare in modo credibile e coerente la nostra chiamata a «vivere in ossequio di Gesù Cristo in un atteggiamento contemplativo esercitato in una vita di preghiera, fraternità e servizio in mezzo alla gente» [Costituzioni2019 ~ 14]. Siamo colmi di gioia e gratitudine per questo momento opportuno per salutarvi e comunicare con voi ciò che abbiamo imparato, condiviso e per cui ci abbiamo impegnato a fare.

2. Il Priore generale, padre Micèal O’Neill, O.Carm. ha fatto una panoramica della situazione dell’Ordine dal Capitolo Generale 2019. Ha sottolineato che, sia nelle realtà consolidate che in quelle nuove dell’Ordine, dobbiamo testimoniare chi diciamo di essereappassionandoci alla nostra relazione personale con Dio, immergendoci nella Parola di Dio e nell’Eucaristia, appassionandoci a promuovere la fraternità all’interno delle comunità e discernendo i segni dei tempi e rispondendo ad essi attraverso il servizio profetico nella Chiesa e nel mondo.

3. Siamo stati profondamente toccati dalle riflessioni del nostro relatore principale, P. Timothy Radcliffe, OP, che ha riflettuto su tre temi: i due voti di obbedienza, castità e la leadership. La nostra metodologia prevedeva l’interazione e l’impegno in conversazioni di tipo sinodale che i partecipanti hanno riconosciuto come grande aiuto per approfondire il senso di incontro e di fraternità. Siamo cresciuti nella consapevolezza e nel riconoscimento della nostra necessità di approfondire la nostra passione per Dio, per la fraternità in tutta la sua complessità attraverso l’ascolto paziente e fantasioso dei nostri fratelli in dialogo, e la nostra passione per l’umanità quando accettiamo di collaborare alla missione di diffondere la Buona Nuova al popolo di Dio. Ci siamo anche resi conto dei divari tra ciò che professiamo e ciò che viviamo. Per colmare questi divari abbiamo esplorato varie possibilità, le principali tra le quali includeranno le seguenti: facilitare lo studio e l’impegno con il testo delle nostre Costituzioni 2019, coltivare una vivace cultura capitolare carmelitana e riconoscere il nostro bisogno di assistenza professionale.

4. Dai rapporti su commissioni e zone geografiche abbiamo appreso che ci sono sfide che affrontiamo insieme come comunità carmelitane riguardo alle seguenti aree

Comunità/fraternità: per colmare le lacune in quest’area, siamo convinti che i priori

abbiano bisogno di un miglioramento delle competenze per costruire la fraternità

attraverso il dialogo interpersonale e incontri comunitari regolari.

Formazione: Riconosciamo che la formazione, iniziale e permanente, è essenziale per lo sviluppo dell’identità carmelitana. Riconosciamo la necessità di creare comunità

formative, ponendo l’accento sulla formazione umana, psicologica e spirituale come

religiosa e rispettando la multiculturalità dei candidati.

c. Collaborazione reciproca: riconosciamo la nostra inadeguatezza a vari livelli e quindi la

necessità di promuovere un senso più vivo di collaborazione reciproca in aspetti della nostra vita, soprattutto a livello internazionale, affinché possiamo condividere risorse – umane e finanziarie – che appartengono a tutti noi.

d. Tutela dei minorenni e persone vulnerabili (safeguarding): Esortiamo tutti noi a costruire una cultura della vita, seguendo le migliori pratiche nella tutela dei minorenni e persone vulnerabili, nell’attuazione delle direttive della Chiesa e dello Stato e nell’accompagnamento delle vittime. Abbiamo deciso di formare una Commissione internazionale per la salvaguardia nel nostro Ordine.

e. Ecologia: Riconosciamo che il modello economico consumistico ha causato enormi danni all’integrità ecologica e alla biodiversità. Chiediamo quindi una conversione ecologica a livello personale e comunitario.

f. Autosostenibilità finanziaria: la pandemia del coronavirus ha peggiorato la redditività finanziaria di molte entità. Dopo aver discusso su questo tema, abbiamo deciso di istituire un fondo comune per la formazione/missioni nelle aree bisognose. Il Consiglio Generale è stato incaricato di redigere gli statuti per l’istituzione di un fondo comune di formazione/missione al quale ogni Provincia contribuirà.

g. Ruolo della Famiglia Carmelitana alle Nazioni Unite: Come modo per impegnarci per la Giustizia, la Pace e l’Integrità del Creato, abbiamo deciso di continuare a sostenere la presenza della ONG Carmelitana alle Nazioni Unite. Sosteniamo anche il previsto esercizio di ristrutturazione della ONG carmelitana.

5. Ispirati dal nostro fratello, san Tito Brandsma, nell’anno della sua canonizzazione, e le cui reliquie saranno conservate tra i martiri contemporanei nella Basilica di San Bartolomeo, dedicata ai martiri, ci impegniamo a testimoniare con passione per Dio, per la fraternità e per l’umanità nel mondo di oggi. Invitiamo tutti i fratelli a unirsi a noi in questo impegno.
